We're seeking an experienced Technical Documentation Writer to support our client, a leading household name in financial services.
n
You will translate complex technical concepts and functional requirements into clear, structured content to support stakeholder and partner understanding and implementation.
n
Partnering closely with SMEs and project managers, you'll develop high-quality, external-facing artefacts including presentation packs, test guides, and detailed technical specifications.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Simplify complex concepts into clear language and smart visuals to support stakeholder understanding of technical and functional requirements.
n
Create high-quality artefacts such as testing strategies, readiness guides, technical specs, and external-facing presentation packs.
n
Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather, review, and finalise content across cross-functional teams.
n
Ensure consistency and clarity across all documentation, aligning with internal standards and industry best practices.
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
At least 5 years in technical writing and content creation with a background in creating technical content, document creation and presentation packs for external stakeholder audiences.
n
Strong capabilities with documentation and tools including Confluence, JIRA,



Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and Visio.
n
Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise language for diverse audiences.
n
Attention to detail with commitment to producing accurate, consistent deliverables.
n
Some understanding of financial or regulatory frameworks.
n
Background in creating process diagrams and visual aids to enhance documentation.
n
Capability to assist with training by creating instructional content and facilitating knowledge transfer sessions.
