Typical Responsibilities
n
Depending on the opportunity, you will play a key role in the estimating and tendering process, working closely with clients, project teams, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver accurate, competitive and commercially sound pricing.
n
Responsibilities may include;
n
n
Preparing accurate estimates and competitive tenders
n
Reviewing drawings, specifications and contract documentation
n
Obtaining and negotiating subcontractor and supplier pricing
n
Preparing BOQs, cost plans and tender submissions
n
Identifying project risks and commercial opportunities
n
Attending site inspections and pre-tender meetings
n
Working closely with Project Managers, Directors and delivery teams
n
Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers
n
Supporting successful project handovers
n
n
We're Interested in Speaking with You If You Have
n
n
Experience estimating within commercial, civil or residential construction
n




Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and tendering processes
n
The ability to interpret engineering and architectural drawings
n
Excellent commercial and analytical skills
n
Solid communication and stakeholder management abilities
n
High attention to detail and organisational skills
n
Experience with estimating software and advanced Microsoft Excel
n
