About the Role

A leading travel company is seeking an experienced sales leader to drive its sales organisation across Australia and New Zealand. You will develop and implement sales & distribution strategies across the Pacific to achieve revenue targets, growth objectives and profitability. You'll build and lead a high‐performing sales team, identify new business opportunities, and maintain key client relationships across corporate and travel agent channels.

Key Responsibilities

Develop short and mid‐term sales strategies and annual plans to achieve growth, revenue and market share targets
n
Analyse market trends and customer needs to drive innovation and ensure the correct sales mix
n
Build and lead a high‐performing sales team with coaching, mentoring and succession planning
n
Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, negotiating contracts and long‐term commercial deals
n
Provide sales forecasts and performance analysis monthly, quarterly and annually
n
Drive digital transformation and sales automation initiatives
n




Foster relationships within the travel industry through active participation in industry events
n
n
Key Skills Required

Strong analytical capabilities with experience in data analysis and reporting
n
Ability to engage and energise teams
n
Proven ability to set long‐term goals and define market plans
n
Confidence and influence over stakeholders with solid negotiation skills

Experience Required
n
n
10 years in sales leadership across multiple geographic locations, with at least 4 years in Business
Development/Account
Management
n
Experience in both B2B and B2C sales
n
Ability to manage complex corporate customers
n
Strong commercial acumen with financial forecasting and budgeting experience
n
