We're partnering with one of Australia's leading digital businesses to find two Data Engineers to join a growing data team working on a large-scale data foundation program.
n
This is an opportunity to join a business investing heavily in its modern data platform, helping shape the foundations that power analytics, reporting and future AI initiatives across the organisation.
n
Rather than simply building pipelines, you'll work on a complex enterprise data platform, extending an established dbt project, developing scalable data assets and contributing to a modern data governance framework from the ground up.
n
The Role
n
Working alongside experienced Data Engineers and Architects, you'll help deliver the next phase of a large enterprise data platform built on Google Cloud.
n
You'll be responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines, building reusable data models and supporting a modern analytics environment used across the business.
n
You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of data governance capabilities using Google's native tooling, helping ensure the platform is scalable, well-documented and built for long-term success.

About You
n
You'll ideally have experience working in a modern cloud data environment and enjoy building robust, scalable data solutions.

We're looking for someone with experience in:
n

GCP (essential)
n
BigQuery
n
Python
n
SQL
n
dbt (highly desirable)
n
Building data pipelines for analytics or reporting
n
Cloud data warehousing
n
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
n
n
Experience with data governance, metadata management or Google Dataplex / Knowledge Catalog would be highly regarded but isn't essential.
n
Analytics Engineers with a strong engineering focus are also encouraged to apply.
