We're partnering with a growing boutique accounting firm in Melbourne's CBD that's known for delivering high-quality tax, business advisory and commercial solutions to an impressive portfolio of clients.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, high-performing team where you'll work closely with experienced leaders, gain exposure to complex advisory work, and play a key role in mentoring junior accountants while building long-term client relationships.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries
n
Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and high-net-worth individuals
n
Deliver tax planning and business advisory services
n
Work on complex tax matters including Division 7A, FBT, payroll tax, trust distributions and business structuring
n
Prepare management reports, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
n
Build trusted relationships with clients and provide commercial advice
n
Mentor and review the work of junior accountants
n
Collaborate with senior leaders on advisory projects, restructures and strategic business matters
n
Liaise with the ATO and other key stakeholders

What You'll Bring
n
n
4+ years' Australian public practice experience
n
CA or CPA qualified
n
Strong taxation and business services knowledge
n
Experience with tax planning and advisory work
n
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
n
Strong technical capability across Australian tax legislation
n
Experience using Xero, CAS360 and Microsoft Excel
n
A proactive mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities
n
A genuine desire to mentor others and continue developing professionally
n
