Business Analyst (Fixed-term Contract)

Location: Melbourne CBD / Hybrid

Salary: Up to 140K + Superannuation

We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a Consumer function on a max-term contract. You'll partner across business and technology teams to define requirements, shape solutions, and support delivery of business-critical initiatives that improve customer experience and operational effectiveness.

Partnering with stakeholders across business and technology to gather, validate and prioritise requirements
n
Translating complex needs into clear requirements, user stories and analysis artefacts
n
Facilitating workshops, interviews, walkthroughs and discovery sessions
n
Documenting as-is / to-be processes, including strong process mapping (BPMN)
n




Supporting delivery teams through solution design, business readiness, testing and implementation
n
Proactively identifying process improvement opportunities and driving outcomes
n
n
n
5+ years' experience as a BA across technology and transformation initiatives
n
Solid stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation and communication skills
n
Demonstrated capability in requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation
n
Experience with user story mapping and persona-based requirements gathering
n
Knowledge of BABOK tools/techniques (highly regarded)
n
Comfort using AI-enabled tools to support BA activities
(desirable/advantage)
n

Experience in Telecommunications / Energy / Power / Gas / Electricity
n
Exposure to Telecommunications BSS
n
Background in large-scale enterprise and/or customer-facing environments
n
Agile delivery experience across cross-functional product teams
