Job Description
We're looking for a mid-level DevOps Engineer to help build, maintain, and scale the infrastructure that powers our game development pipeline. You'll work closely with programmers, technical artists, and QA to keep build systems fast, reliable, and painless — so the team can focus on making outstanding games instead of fighting tools.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for game builds across multiple platforms (PC, console, mobile)
n
Manage and optimize build farms, automated build systems, and nightly/CI build processes
n
Maintain source control infrastructure (Perforce, Git/Git LFS) including branching strategies, repo health, and performance tuning
n
Automate packaging, deployment, and distribution to platform storefronts (Steam, console cert submission tools, app stores) and internal QA builds
n
Monitor build pipeline health, diagnose failures, and reduce build/iteration times
n
Support and improve automated testing infrastructure (smoke tests, regression suites, crash reporting integration)
n
Manage cloud and on-prem infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes/Docker) supporting build servers, backend services, or live-ops tooling
n
Write and maintain internal tools/scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to streamline developer workflows
n
Collaborate with engineering leads to define infrastructure needs for upcoming projects and platform requirements
n
Own incident response for pipeline/build outages, including root cause analysis and postmortems
n
Document processes and provide support/training to programmers and technical staff using the pipeline
n
Coordinate with the engine team and technical leads to communicate required features and share best practices.
n
Work closely with game development teams to integrate Unreal Engine features seamlessly into studio games, providing technical solutions and troubleshooting assistance.
n
Provide flexible support to team members during critical development stages, ensuring project milestones are met on time.

Qualifications
n




What you need to succeed
n
n
2-3 years of experience in DevOps, build engineering, or infrastructure roles (game industry experience a strong plus)
n
Solid
scripting/programming
ability (Python, C#, Bash, or similar)
n
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar)
n
Hands‐on experience with version control systems at scale, especially Perforce and/or Git (Git LFS)
n
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
n
Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
n
Comfortable working cross‐functionally with programmers, artists, and producers
n
Strong troubleshooting skills and a bias toward automating repetitive work
n

Experience with Unreal Engine
n
Understanding of build processes for game engines (Unity, Unreal, or proprietary engines)
n
Experience with console cert/submission pipelines (PlayStation, Xbox, Switch)
n
Familiarity with live‐ops backend services and telemetry pipelines
n
Experience with infrastructure‐as‐code (Terraform, Ansible)
n
Experience scaling build infrastructure for a live‐service or multi‐title studio
n
