Exciting opportunity to join a supportive and team-oriented Workplace Relations & Safety team at Montgomery Advisory.

About the role
n
We are actively seeking an Associate with expertise in workplace relations & safety law to join a well-regarded Sydney specialist team. The team provides advice to a broad range of clients, including large and small corporates, government bodies, and statutory authorities. It is an employer-focused practice representing both public and private sector employers across various industries and collaborates closely with our Commercial team on dynamic transactional matters.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Providing both contentious and non-contentious employment law advice to a variety of clients.
n
Managing client relationships and leading legal matters, with a focus on workplace relations, industrial relations, and safety law.
n
Collaborating with the Commercial team on diverse transactional matters, ensuring comprehensive legal support across various sectors.
n
Contributing to the growth and development of the practice, with opportunities for career advancement based on merit.
n

About you
n
n
3+ years PAE in workplace health and safety, working within an established and reputable employment law practice.
n
Solid knowledge of workplace relations, industrial relations, and work health and safety law.
n
Proven experience advising on employment-related matters within the context of commercial transactions.
n
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to legal work.
n
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for building effective relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
