A global pharmaceutical organisation is preparing for the launch of an innovative therapy in neurology and is expanding its Medical Affairs team in Australia. Key Responsibilities
n
n
Build and maintain strong scientific relationships with neurologists, key opinion leaders and academic centres across NSW and ACT.
n
Provide in-depth scientific and clinical support for the neurology portfolio.
n
Support the pre-launch and launch activities for the recent therapy through scientific engagement and education.
n
Deliver high-quality scientific presentations and discussions with healthcare professionals.
n
Respond to medical information requests in a balanced, accurate and compliant manner.
n
Gather and communicate field insights and unmet medical needs to internal stakeholders.
n
Support investigator-initiated studies and clinical research activities where appropriate.
n
Partner closely with Medical Affairs,
Commercial, Market Access and Clinical Development teams to ensure alignment of strategy.
n
Provide training and scientific support to internal teams, including commercial colleagues.
n
Ensure all activities are conducted in line with relevant industry codes and regulatory requirements.

About You
n
n
Advanced degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, PhD, or Life Sciences.
n
Prior experience as an MSL or in a field-based medical role within the pharmaceutical industry.
n
Strong interest or experience in neurology, neuroscience or related therapeutic areas.
n
Excellent ability to communicate complex scientific data clearly and credibly to healthcare professionals.
n
Proven ability to build long-term relationships with KOLs and academic centres.
n
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
n
Ability to work autonomously within a field-based role.
n
Previous neurology or neuroscience experience is advantageous
n
Experience supporting product launches or pre-launch activities.
n
Understanding of the Australian healthcare system and key neurological centre
