About the Role
n
As a Freight Coordinator,



you'll play an important role in keeping international and domestic freight moving safely, efficiently and on time.
n
Every day is different. You'll work within a dynamic airport setting, handling cargo, coordinating freight movements and contributing to critical logistics operations that connect businesses and communities across the globe.
n
Your Key Responsibilities
n
n
Safely screen, load and unload cargo
n
Operate forklifts and airside vehicles
n
Coordinate cargo movements throughout the terminal
n
Complete operational documentation and system updates
n
Maintain accurate records and compliance standards
n
Follow all workplace health, safety and aviation security requirements
n
Work collaboratively with a high-performing operations team
n
Assist with general warehouse housekeeping and equipment checks
n
n
Working Hours
n
AIRWAY operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Following your training period, you will work across a rotating roster. Shift start times may be as early as 4:00am.
n

Previous warehouse, logistics, freight or aviation experience (advantageous but not essential)

No air cargo experience?

Licences & Requirements
n
n
Current Australian Driver Licence with own reliable transport
n
Current LF Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
n
Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC
n
Successful completion of a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen, and police check
n
