Senior Software Developer – Expression of Interest (EOI)

Location: Canberra and Brisbane (permanent full‐time). Secure clearance: NV1 or higher.

Responsibilities
n
n
Design, develop and maintain high‐quality software in accordance with established standards and best practices.
n
Participate in all Agile sprint activities, including planning, estimation, development and reviews.
n
Contribute to software design, task decomposition and effort estimation.
n
Develop and execute unit and system testing to ensure software quality and performance.
n
Prepare and maintain technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
n
Collaborate with developers, project managers and stakeholders to deliver effective software solutions.
n
Identify opportunities to improve development processes, tools and practices.
n
Represent KBR professionally while adhering to company policies, security requirements and quality standards.
n
n
Ideal Candidate You Will Bring
n
n
Strong experience in software development or a similar role.
n
Robust experience developing applications using C# and WPF.
n
Solid understanding of Object‐Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design.
n
Experience with unit testing and delivering high‐quality,



maintainable code.
n
Excellent analytical, problem‐solving and organisational skills.
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non‐technical teams.
n

Desirable
n
n
Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO/TFS), Git and Microsoft Visual Studio.
n
Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
n
Familiarity with the Microsoft software development and testing ecosystem.
n
Experience developing software for Defence or other secure, mission‐critical environments.
n
