Our client is a leading provider of healthcare services with a national network of clinics and a reputation which is second to none. They are seeking a skilled Citrix Systems Engineer on a 3 month contract which will see you through till end January, to replace someone going on leave.

Responsibilities
n
n
Design and implement scalable solutions across Citrix, SCCM, and Intune platforms
n
Lead infrastructure enhancements, VDA/App deployment strategies, and endpoint compliance initiatives
n
Develop automation scripts and dashboards for reporting, remediation, and compliance
n
Scope and estimate technical effort, resources, and timelines for infrastructure projects
n
Ensure consistent application of IT standards, security policies, and audit controls
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
Deep expertise in designing, scaling, and optimizing large-scale Citrix environments, including Citrix Cloud, PVS/MCS provisioning, StoreFront, and NetScaler (ADC). Proven ability to modernize and enhance VDI platforms for performance, resilience, and user experience.
n
Advanced knowledge of Citrix technologies for application and desktop virtualization, with a focus on image lifecycle management, app layering strategies, and automated packaging pipelines to streamline delivery and reduce operational overhead.
n




Extensive experience in architecting and evolving MS Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) environments, including SOE development, Windows 11 deployment readiness, and application packaging.
n
Skilled in integrating with Intune for hybrid and cloud-native endpoint strategies.
n
Solid foundation in Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, RDS),
n
Proficient in delivering solutions using VMware ESXi to support infrastructure modernization, workload isolation, and DevOps-aligned delivery models.
n
Experienced in performance tuning and capacity planning to support high-availability workloads.
n
Skilled in PowerShell scripting for infrastructure automation, compliance remediation, and orchestration of deployment workflows across Citrix, SCCM, and Windows platforms.
n

While the role is technology focused, the successful candidate will also present with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
