Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Vice President to lead, build, and grow the Western Australian business unit as part of the Senior Leadership Team. Reporting to the Executive Vice President – APAC, the Vice President – Australia West is critical to Sedgman's growth in Western Australia and will oversee the regional implementation of business strategy, focusing on growth, risk management, cost efficiency, and cash flow.

Responsibilities

Integrating with the broader business to enable sustainable growth within diverse commodities including critical minerals.
n
Identifying key strategic business opportunities to mature the market share focus on commodity and energy transition.
n
Cultivating sustainable business growth whilst building people capability. Provide strategic and operational leadership to a highly skilled and experienced team to execute the business strategy effectively.
n
Strengthening and building on the existing culture and continue fostering its evolution and growth.
n
Leading, planning, directing, and coordinating the delivery of engineering services to external and internal clients, with a focus on cost, time, and quality.
n
Actively supporting the delivery of Projects through provision of engineering services.
n
Leading and managing tactical planning for opportunity pursuit and negotiation to ensure the business achieves order book growth targets premised on sustainable contracts in accordance with the CIMIC Group governance framework.
n
Lead by example to create a culture focused on client relationships, innovative solutions, commercial discipline, and health and safety excellence.

Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor of Engineering degree or a postgraduate degree in a related field.
n
15+ years' experience in engineering, project development,



and project management specifically within the resources sector.
n
Extensive experience in the leadership of engineering and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects through both EPCM and EPC execution models.
n
An exceptional leader with demonstrated experience in managing and leading multiple teams while nurturing a strong organisational culture.
n
Strong commercial acumen. Solid experience in Profit & Loss (P/L) management, commercial contracts, and negotiation.
n
Deep understanding of the Western Australian market dynamics and a track record of growing market share.
n
Proven capability to build front-end commercial strength (pre contracts, estimating, risk).
