Role Overview
n
n
Senior-level Microsoft security professional providing operational support, engineering, and security improvements.
n
Supports SOC-aligned operations and enterprise cybersecurity posture.
n
Acts as a technical SME across Microsoft security platforms.
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Provide Level 3 operational support for Microsoft security platforms.
n
Maintain and improve Microsoft Secure Score in line with government standards.
n
Support and optimise Microsoft Defender Suite (Endpoint, Office 365, Identity, Cloud Apps).
n
Implement and manage endpoint security, ASR rules, Intune, and device hardening.
n
Configure and support identity security using Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, and identity protection.
n
Implement data protection controls using Microsoft Purview (DLP, Information Protection, Insider Risk).
n
Provide Azure security support, including policies, logging, RBAC, encryption, key vaults, and landing zone advisory.




n
Support incident response, threat investigation, and remediation.
n
Contribute to security architecture, design, and roadmap initiatives.
n
Produce operational documentation, runbooks, and configurations.
n
Deliver knowledge transfer and training to internal teams.
n
Participate in governance forums (Architecture and Change reviews).
n
Collaborate with SOC, assurance partners, and other service providers.
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
5–10+ years of cybersecurity experience (Senior / SME level).
n
Solid hands‐on experience with:n
n
Microsoft Defender Suite
n
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
n
Microsoft Purview
n
Azure security and governance
n
n
Experience with Essential Eight, Zero Trust, and cloud security principles.
n
Strong troubleshooting, advisory, and stakeholder communication skills.
n
n
Certifications (Preferred)
n
n
CISSP, CISM, or equivalent (desirable).
n
n
Duration: 06 Months and possible extension
n
