Candidates must have civil or demo experience. Project examples are demolition, bulk earthworks, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation.
n
Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Demolition Supervisor to join their growing business in the Bowen Basin Region.
n
Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as commercial buildings, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of challenging projects.
n
Types of projects include demolition, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation etc. Typical values from $2.5m to $50m+. Projects will be greenfield and brownfield projects and will be tier 1 projects.
n
For demolition candidates,



you must have a demolition qualification (competencies which meet the requirements under AS ********* Demolition of Structures), you will be working under our clients company licence.
n
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
n
n
Ensuring OH&S; procedures are followed
n
Assisting in the programming of works
n
Management of site project teams
n
Preparation of reports
n
Resolving site issues in a timely manner
n
Liaising with key clients and stakeholders
n
n
Qualifications and Requirements:
n
n
5 to 15+ years' experience in the similar role
n
Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
n
Effective problem solving abilities
n
Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
n
High level of organisation and time management skills
n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
n
