Job Description

Primary Duties
n
n
Oversee the technical scope, feasibility, design, and assembly — ensuring the project remains in scope, and quality and safety standards are met. Provide feedback and alignment to senior leaders, and ensure continuous business and process improvement/s.
n
Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and quality records
n
Act as the prime technical conduit within the Engineering and at times other stakeholders within the rest of the business (programs, supply, security, finance).
n
Develop and implement strategies that maximise project success.
n
Work collaboratively within a project team, providing and maintaining key relationships between engineering disciplines, and broader business units.
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Crucial role in planning and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects
n
Coordinate the engineering tasks and body of work
n
Lead projects to plan and lead project decision-making processes
n
Perform project assessment and control
n
Provide technical support to site teams
n
Manage risks arising from Engineering and/or impacting Engineering
n
Manage Configuration Baselines and ensure delivery of appropriate Technical Data to customers, both internally and as required externally in coordination with the project manager (programs)
n
n
Experience
n
n
8 years proven experience in a Senior Engineering position
n
Knowledge and understanding of the Product Life Cycle
n
Experience of the Australian Defence technical regulation frameworks and standards
n
Proven experience in the project/program execution within the ASDEFCON framework
n
A Bachelor's or Post Graduate Degree within an Engineering Discipline
