QA Manager

Permanent | $*******k inc. super + bonus | Sydney-based hybrid role (3 days in office)

A senior opportunity for a QA leader who knows how to design, scale, and embed quality across a complex technology environment. You'll oversee a large, multi-location QA function, guide strategic direction, and uplift capability across Agile, project, and BAU delivery.
n
This role suits someone articulate, influential, and confident in explaining concepts, frameworks, and contemporary QA practices to stakeholders at every level. You'll drive transformation, mature the operating model, and ensure quality is treated as a genuine business enabler.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Leading and evolving enterprise QA governance, standards, and frameworks
n
Driving maturity uplift across automation, Agile testing, and quality engineering
n
Shaping and overseeing testing strategy across projects, platforms, and BAU streams
n




Managing a blended team across onshore, offshore, and vendor delivery models
n
Partnering with senior technology and business stakeholders to embed quality thinking
n
Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to modernise and scale QA practices
n

What you bring
n
n
Experience leading large QA/Test functions within complex organisations
n
Proven ability to design, build, and uplift testing practices
n
Strong understanding of Agile and scaled delivery environments
n
Broad knowledge across SDLC, automation concepts, quality engineering, and modern testing approaches
n
Familiarity with CI/CD tooling, BDD practices, cloud platforms, and test management tools
n
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity and influence outcomes
n
