ABOUT JOB:
n
The Construction Manager manage and supervise all on‐site construction activities of high-rise building projects, ensuring works are executed in compliance with approved designs, schedule, budget, quality standards, safety regulations, and local laws.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
n
Construction Management
n
n
Manage and control daily construction activities for high-rise buildings, including structural works, finishing works, and MEP installation.
n
Ensure construction works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedule.
n
Coordinate and supervise main contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.
n
n
Schedule & Progress Control
n
n
Monitor construction progress and identify potential delays or risks.
n
Propose corrective actions to maintain the approved construction schedule.
n
Coordinate closely with the Project Manager on progress updates and recovery plans.
n
n
Quality Management
n
n
Ensure construction quality meets project specifications, codes, standards, and approved quality plans.
n
Monitor inspections, tests, and quality control procedures on site.
n
Manage non‐conformance issues and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
n
n
Health, Safety & Workplace (HSE)
n
n
Enforce strict compliance with HSE policies, safety plans, and local regulations.
n
Monitor site safety conditions and ensure proper implementation of safety measures.
n
Lead accident investigations and corrective action implementation when required.
n
n
Technical Coordination
n
n
Review construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
n
Coordinate technical issues related to structure, MEP, façade, fire protection, elevators, and other high-rise systems.
n
Resolve technical and construction challenges in coordination with consultants and contractors.
n
n
Cost & Resource Monitoring
n
n
Assist in monitoring construction costs and resource utilization.
n
Review work quantities, site progress, and support verification of payment applications.
n
Manage site manpower and equipment efficiently.
n
n
Reporting & Communication
n
n
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly construction progress reports.
n
Conduct site meetings and coordinate with stakeholders on construction matters.
n
Report critical issues, risks, and deviations to the Project Manager promptly.
n
Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and authority approvals.
n
Support completion, snagging, de-snagging, and final handover of the project.
n

REQUIREMENTS:
n
Education & Experience
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related fields.
n
Minimum 8-12 years of experience in construction projects.
n
At least 5 years of experience managing on‐site construction for high-rise buildings (residential, office, hotel, mixed‐use).
n

Technical Knowledge & Skills
n
n
Strong knowledge of high-rise construction methods, structure, finishing, and MEP systems.
n
Solid understanding of local building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
n
Experience coordinating complex site logistics in dense urban environments.
n
Strong leadership, site coordination, and problem‐solving skills.
n
n
Management & Personal Skills
n
n
Ability to manage multiple contractors and disciplines on site.
n
High sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and results-oriented mindset.
n
Strong communication and reporting skills.
n
n
Language & Tools
n
n
Proficient in MS Office; experience using project management tools is an advantage.
n
Good English communication skills (written and spoken) is an advantage.
