The Opportunity
n
We're seeking an outstanding Senior Associate to join us in our Melbourne CBD office. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new specialised practice where you'll work directly with the founding partners on complex and compelling matters and be at the 'ground level' of a new firm.
n
Reflecting our focus on work‐life balance, this role is a genuine part‐time role (0.6 FTE), with the ability to spread the working hours to suit your schedule across 3, 4 or 5 days. There will also be the opportunity to increase your time fraction in due course, if desirable.

What You'll Do
n
n
Represent clients in workplace disputes and litigation
n
Conduct or advise on workplace investigations
n
Manage and advise on complex wage remediation projects and payroll audits
n
Provide strategic advice on employment and compliance issues
n
Engage with regulators and manage regulatory investigations and prosecutions
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
We are looking for a candidate with strong technical ability and who is motivated by the prospect of being part of something new.

Along with a results‐driven, positive attitude and a strong desire to succeed you will need:
n

6+ years PQE in employment law
n
Excellent relationship management and communication skills
n
Commercial acumen and a practical, solutions‐focused approach
n
Demonstrated expertise in wage and payroll issues and employment litigation
n
Strong technical skills with exceptional attention to detail
n
Admitted to practice in Australia
n
