About the Role
n
We are seeking a highly experienced Pipelayer to join a busy civil construction team delivering subdivision, drainage, and utility infrastructure projects across Gippsland and the Latrobe Valley. Working alongside operators and supervisors, you will play a key role in installing underground services safely, accurately, and to exact specifications.

Minimum Experience
n
You must have at least 5 years of proven, hands-on experience specifically as a pipelayer within civil construction.
n

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Install stormwater pipelines to exact line, level, and project specifications.
n
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot pipe lasers for accurate grade/alignment.
n
Work safely around trenches and heavy machinery (excavators, skid steers).
n
Install pits,



manholes, bedding, backfill, and associated civil infrastructure.
n
Read construction drawings, check levels, and complete basic QA paperwork.
n
Comply with SWMS & site safety procedure.s
n

About You
n
n
5+ years of verified civil pipelaying experience.
n
Expert knowledge of stormwater, sewer, and water main installation.
n
Confident setting up pipe lasers and directing
excavation/lifting.
n
Current White Card and valid Driver's Licence (HR Truck licence is a plus).
n
Desirable Tickets: Confined Space,
Excavator/Loader/Skid
Steer, Spotter, First Aid.
n
