Senior Software Engineer - Integration
n Permanent | $ Competitive Salary $ + variable bonus | Sydney or Melbourne (in office 2 days a week)
n The Company: Our client is a leading financial institution undergoing a significant Enterprise Wide Tech Modernisation program. This program spans over 5+ years and will be delivering many exciting, industry first solutions.
n The Role: An exciting opportunity for multiple Senior Software Engineers to join the Integration department of the tech modernisation program. You will be responsible for designing and building large-scale enterprise projects focused on Service Enablement. These platforms will be utilised by thousands of internal customers and engineering teams.
n Project Specifics:
n
n
Develop and implement APIs, Microservices, and Cloud Native solutions.
n
Work with JAVA and Springboot; NodeJS experience is a bonus.
n
Implement supergraphs and GraphQL (ideal but not mandatory).
n
Set up scripted infrastructure on Azure or AWS (IaC).
n
Ensure security measures are in place for systems handling vast numbers of transactions daily.
n

The Experience Required:
n
n




Proven experience in designing and building large-scale enterprise projects.
n
Strong skills in JAVA and Springboot; NodeJS is a plus.
n
Experience with APIs, Microservices, and Cloud Native development.
n
Familiarity with supergraphs and GraphQL is advantageous.
n
Security-savvy with experience in building solutions handling high-volume transactions.
n
Excellent soft skills, proactive attitude, and strong stakeholder engagement abilities.
n
Ability to work independently and build relationships with stakeholders.
n
Experience in Banking and Finance or large-scale tech companies (like Google, Amazon, Microsoft).
n
