About the Role
n We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join a Mental Health, Alcohol, and Other Drugs team in the Central Australia region. This role offers a rare chance to work across both forensic and community mental health settings in one of the most unique and culturally rich parts of Australia.

This position is ideal for a specialist who is passionate about making a difference in remote and Indigenous health while contributing to teaching and training programs for medical students and psychiatry registrars.

Specialist Clinician: $248,765 - $304,012

Senior Specialist Clinician: $314,354 - $347,549
n
Additional allowances:

Deliver expert psychiatric care across community and forensic settings (50:50 split).

Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to improve mental health outcomes.

Contribute to teaching psychiatry to medical students and postgraduate trainees.

What You'll Bring

Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent.
n
Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
n
