About the Role
n
We have an excellent opportunity for a Legal & Compliance Counsel to join the outstanding ANZ Legal Team based in Melbourne on contract (9-12 months). Reporting to the General Counsel/Co Secretary and working closely with C-suite, you will be supporting a diverse range of businesses and stakeholders, providing legal, risk & compliance support & advice. The ANZ Legal Team forms part of the collegiate Global Legal Team.

Skills & Experience
n
n
Ideally 4-7 yrs PAE with Australian experience essential
n
A generalist commercial Lawyer who has worked with one of Australia's highly regarded law firms &/or a large corporate environment.
n
Skilled in commercial law, compliance, consumer law, claims & disputes
n




Preferable skills in developing and executing compliance strategy, assessing compliance risks, reviewing and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, compliance auditing and training
n
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, outstanding communication skills and high level of commercial acumen.
