Permanent Part-time - Night Duty- 3 days roster for week 1 and 4 days for week 2 - On a rotating roster, work 1x weekend a fortnight

Pay rate – $***** - $59 per hour + superannuation

Reporting directly to the Care Manager at Villa Maria Unanderra which is 96 bed home, you will be providing a high standard of nursing clinical care with an individual, person centred approach to all residents within our residential aged care home. There will be 2-night Registered Nurse on the floor for the support.

About the Role
n
n
Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
n
Acting as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
n
Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures
n
n
To be successful in this role you'll need
n
n




A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
n
Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
n
Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
n
Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
n
Solid clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age – related health issues
n
Strong coaching/training skills
n
Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
n
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
n
Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
n
n
