You'll manage a portfolio of clients, deliver high quality business services and advisory work, mentor junior accountants and build trusted client relationships.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage a portfolio of business and individual clients across a range of industries.
n
Prepare and review financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.
n
Prepare and review income tax returns, BAS, IAS and FBT returns.
n
Deliver tax planning and strategic tax advice.
n
Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
n
Build strong, long term client relationships and become a trusted business advisor.
n
Analyse financial information and prepare management reports.
n




Identify opportunities to provide additional advisory services and improve client outcomes.
n
Mentor, coach and review the work of junior accountants.
n
Drive process improvements and promote the effective use of technology across the practice.
n
Ensure compliance with Australian taxation legislation and accounting standards.
n

About You
n
n
CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion)
n
5+ years' public practice accounting experience is essential
n
Strong Australian tax and compliance knowledge
n
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
n
Experience managing client relationships
n
Xero experience preferred
n
n
