Position

We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer (Civil 3D & 12D) to work on civil infrastructure projects across major land development and infrastructure initiatives. This is a permanent role based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne offices.

Responsibilities
n
Contribute to the design, modelling, and production of drawings for civil infrastructure projects, working independently on varied design and modelling tasks. Ensure high-quality output within time and cost budget constraints and meet client expectations.
n
Develop and maintain a sound understanding of civil design principles and specialist drafting software skills such as 12D and Civil 3D.
n
Qualifications
n
n
8+ years' experience in a similar role mentoring and managing project teams
n
Diploma or Certificate qualification in Civil Design / Computer aided drafting
n
Experience with drafting software for roadways, earthworks, stormwater, water quality and general site grading
n
Geometric roadway design experience to Austroads standards
n
Site grading and earthworks analysis
n




Coordination of utility networks and stormwater drainage
n
Knowledge and skills in Civil Infrastructure and CAD technologies (12D, Civil3D, BIM Collaboration software)
n
Transparent and effective communication skills
n
Problem solving and analytic skills
n
Ability to apply theoretical concepts to analyse and interpret information
n
Experience in the production of design documentation
n
