Winnellie, NT Hays Accounting & Finance are proud to be partnering with a well-established, family-owned Northern Territory business to recruit an Accounts Manager to join their team in Darwin.This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a diverse local organisation with operations spanning multiple industries, including primary production, hospitality and tourism, retail, and commercial property. Offering a hands‐on role with broad responsibility, this position will suit an experienced accounting professional who enjoys variety and working closely with business leaders.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll functions
n
Monitor daily cash flow and maintain strong financial controls
n
Manage debtor control and collections processes
n
Administer intercompany and intra-group transactions
n
Prepare employment contracts and support employment administration activities
n
Assist with financial reporting, activity statements, payroll tax and statutory compliance requirements
n
Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to efficient financial operations
n




Work closely with Directors and senior stakeholders across the business
n

About You
n
n
Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Accounts Manager or senior accounting position
n
Strong understanding of accounting operations within a complex business workplace
n
Experience managing payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
n
Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
n
Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
n
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
n
Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders
n
Experience with Xero is highly regarded
n
Reliable, proactive and willing to get involved across all areas of the business
n
