We are currently partnering with a modern regional hospital in the Hunter Valley to recruit General Practitioners with Emergency Medicine experience to join a high-performing Emergency Department as Visiting Medical Officers.
n
This is a outstanding opportunity to build a long-term Emergency Medicine career within a large, contemporary district hospital (Tier 2 facility) with approximately 300+ beds, servicing a rapidly growing regional population.

Emergency Department Overview
n
n
Sees approximately 150 patients per day, with around one-third paediatric presentations
n
Maintains an admission rate of *****% across multiple specialties
n
Acts as a referral hub for several surrounding rural hospitals
n
Focuses strongly on patient flow, clinical decision‐making and secure care pathways
n
Operates with a collaborative senior medical team and structured supervision model
n

Requirements
n
n
MBBS or equivalent with current AHPRA registration
n
Fellowship of RACGP (FRACGP) or equivalent
n
Experience or strong interest in Emergency Medicine
n
Completion of, or willingness to undertake, Emergency Life Support training
n
Commitment to clinical excellence, teamwork and ongoing professional development
n
