Who are we looking for?
n We're working on a career enhancing assignment with a leading national mid-tier law firm for a Senior Litigation Lawyer to join us and kick-start their LOD career with this assignment.
n
This assignment will see you supporting a specialist insurance practice, acting for insurers, freight forwarders, corporations and government authorities in shipping, marine, aviation, road, rail and trade related litigation.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Reviewing files and advising clients on policy interpretation, coverage disputes and liability assessments
n
Managing claims arising from transport and logistics operations
n
Preparing court documents, including pleadings, statements of evidence and other litigation materials
n
Drafting correspondence and liaising with clients, counsel and other practitioners

Appearing before courts and tribunals where appropriate
n
n
To join us, you will:
n
n
Have at least4 years PQEideally gained from top or mid-tier law firms or in-house (with strong legal training)
n
Have experience in insurance litigation, transport, marine, aviation, trade or general commercial disputes
n
Possess robust drafting, file management and advocacy skills
n
Be client-centric, commercially minded, adaptable and able to hit the ground running
n
