Job Description
Aurora ARC is currently seeking experienced High Voltage Electricians - Testing & Commissioning for a major wind farm construction project in New South Wales. This role will focus on the testing, commissioning and energisation of wind turbine electrical systems, transformers, protection relays and associated high-voltage infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work on a large-scale renewable energy project and play a key role in bringing new wind generation assets online.

Transformer protection relaytesting
n
Relay final primary injectiontesting
n
MV side Power Quality Meter(PQM) testing
n
LV side Power Quality Meter(PQM) testing
n
6kV transformer testing andcommissioning
n
690V transformer testing andcommissioning
n
Completion of test reports andcommissioning documentation
n
Fault finding and
rectificationsupport
during energisation activities
n
Ensuring all work is performedin accordance with project specifications, Australian Standards and site safetyrequirements
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role you will have:
n
n
NSW Electrical Licence
n
High Voltage Switching and/or HVOperations qualifications
n
Proven experience in HV testingand commissioning environments
n
Experience with
transformertesting,




protection systems and relay testing
n
Ability to interpret
electricaldrawings,
protection schematics and commissioning documentation
n
Strong understanding ofelectrical safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
n
Construction White Card
n
Current driver's licence
n
Previous wind farm, renewableenergy, substation or major infrastructure project experience highly regarded
n
