Technical Writer / Product Evangelist (SaaS) – CheckWorkRights (CWR) is a leading Australian SaaS that has spent the last decade building a reputation as a trusted partner in the background checking and compliance space. We're looking for someone to join our team who can go deep into our SaaS product — learning every feature inside and out — and to turn that knowledge into clear, structured documentation that empowers both our customers and our team.

What you'll do

Learn every feature and workflow of our product — from high-level use cases to the nuts-and-bolts technical details.
n
Produce documentation for two key audiences: External (user guides, FAQs, onboarding materials, release notes, feature explainers) and Internal (technical reference docs, process flows, troubleshooting guides).

Establish and maintain a clear, scalable documentation framework in Notion (no experience needed — you'll be expected to master it quickly).

Ensure all documentation is accurate, accessible, and easy to understand — from non-technical users to advanced power users.

Work closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to capture product knowledge as it evolves.

Advocate for clarity and usability across all product communications — becoming the go-to source of product truth.

Full time, permanent position

Fully remote, work from anywhere in Australia (with an AEST timezone workday)
