Associate, Legal Search & Recruitment @ Montgomery Advisory — Excellent opportunity for a Senior Associate to join a top-tier Corporate M&A; practice in Brisbane.

Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

Responsibilities
n
In this role, you will:
n
n
Advise on the full spectrum of corporate transactions, including public and private M&A;, ECM, joint ventures, restructures, and corporate governance matters.
n
Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documentation, shareholder agreements, underwriting arrangements, and regulatory filings.
n
Manage complex transactions end-to-end, coordinating with clients, advisers, and stakeholders to ensure efficient execution.
n
Mentor and supervise junior lawyers, contributing to training, knowledge sharing, and team leadership.
n
Support business development initiatives, client relationship management, and thought leadership activities.
n
n
Key Requirements
n
n




At least 6 years' post-admission experience in corporate law, ideally gained at a top-tier or leading
national/international
firm.
n
Strong experience advising on M&A;, equity capital markets, and foreign investment matters.
n
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with sound commercial judgment.
n
Proven ability to manage complex matters with autonomy and professionalism.
n
A cooperative, client-focused mindset with enthusiasm for mentoring and contributing to a high-performing team.
