Currently, we are looking to incorporate a Business Development Manager in Melbourne (Australia), who shares our commitment to excellence, strategic thinking, and high-value project delivery. The Business Development Manager supports the pursuit and delivery of major civil and social infrastructure projects within a Tier 1 contracting environment. The role leads complex bid coordination, manages opportunity pipelines, and supports executive‐level client and partner relationships across government and major infrastructure clients.

Key responsibilities and functions:
n
n
Support or lead end‐to‐end coordination of large, complex pre‐qualifications, EOIs, and proposals, including JV and alliance bid.
n
Manage the business development pipeline across major transport, health, water and social infrastructure programs.
n
Prepare high‐quality, compliant submissions and presentations to support business development activities.
n
Coordinate inputs from executives, technical teams, delivery teams, and external partners.
n
Support commercial and contractual reviews.
n
Support Strategy to Win approach for each pursuit.
n
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (engineering, commercial, legal, finance)



to ensure high‐quality bid submissions both within Australia and International.
n
Define and implement bid strategies aligned with company objectives and client requirements.
n
Engage with partners, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to strengthen bid positioning.
n
Support negotiations with clients during the evaluation phase.
n

Requirements:
n
Bring approximately ***** years' experience in business development and/or project roles. Experience within a Tier 1 civil or infrastructure construction environment is highly valued.
n
n
Strong understanding of tendering processes and contract management.
n
Advanced level of English (both written and spoken).
n
Excellent leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
n
Strong analytical and problem‐solving capabilities.
n
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
n
Experience in international or multicultural environments is highly valued.
