Senior Business Analyst - Guidewire Policy Centre | Insurance

6-Month Contract | Sydney

A leading Australian insurer is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a major transformation program, with a strong focus on Guidewire Policy Centre.
n
You'll be working across functional and technical requirements aligned to Guidewire's data models, integration points and policy lifecycle processes. This is a hands on BA role for someone who can translate complex business needs into clear, Guidewire aligned specifications and drive delivery through to outcome.

What you'll be doing:
n
n
Leading elicitation and documentation of functional requirements across Policy Centre data structures, event triggers and integration behaviour
n
Working across Commercial and Personal Lines products (Motor, SME, Home, and similar)
n
Partnering with business and delivery squads to translate requirements into Guidewire aligned functional specs, ensuring accuracy of data mapping and payload usage
n




Facilitating requirements workshops and elaboration sessions with cross functional business and technical teams
n
Working closely with Dev and QA squads to clarify requirements and support delivery
n
Securing business approvals on functional and technical specifications, aligned to compliance and governance standards
n
n
What you'll bring:
n
n
Strong Guidewire experience, ideally Policy Centre, with Claims Centre knowledge highly regarded
n
Proven experience in insurance BA roles, general insurance preferred
n
Solid stakeholder management and facilitation skills, comfortable driving clarity in ambiguity
n
Experience working in Agile delivery environments
n
Solid documentation skills, including functional specs, data mapping and requirement traceability
n
n
