A highly active Australian Growth Equity fund is hiring an Investment Director to lead origination and execution across a flexible mandate spanning both minority and majority investments. The fund is well capitalised and actively deploying into mid‐market opportunities across a broad range of sectors. As a result of their current pipeline and growth plans, they are looking to bring in an experienced private equity investor.

Responsibilities

Lead origination and build a high‐quality proprietary deal pipeline
n
Own end‐to‐end transaction execution across commercial, financial, and legal workstreams
n
Build deep relationships with founders, CEOs, bankers, and advisors
n
Drive value creation and portfolio oversight post‐investment, including board representation
n




Play a key role in firm‐building and developing junior talent
n
n
Ideal Profile
n
n
5‐15+ years in private equity, principal investing, or growth capital essential
n
Strong transaction track record, ideally within the mid‐market
n
Deal instincts and origination capability, not just execution
n
Confident representing the fund in market and building trusted founder relationships
n
