Our client is a leading name in the design and manufacture of switchboards and packaged power distribution systems for the commercial, infrastructure, and resources sectors. With a growing product range that includes Australian-designed and manufactured LV and HV power distribution products, they are now seeking a Business Development Manager to join their HV product division.

Responsibilities:
n
n
Maintain and develop current customer portfolio within the assigned product line to achieve sales targets.
n
Develop and maintain account plans in conjunction with the General Manager.
n
Build strong relationships and achieve sales outcomes to meet company objectives.
n
Market the company's services and maintain relationships with clients, both current and existing.
n
Visit clients locally and interstate regularly.
n




Identify new tender opportunities in line with tendering and bid/no-bid processes.
n
Assist the estimating team with tender preparation and submission.
n
Collaborate closely with supply chain partners.
n
Negotiate tenders and follow up on proposals.
n
Support project delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and project profitability.
n
n
Minimum Requirements:
n
n
At least 5 years of relevant local experience in sales and business development within the electrical industry.
n
Electrical trade qualification or tertiary engineering qualification.
n
Proven success in sales.
n
Knowledge of high voltage switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and packaged solutions.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
n
Operational management experience is advantageous.
n
Ability to work under pressure and extended hours as needed.
n
Effective communication at all levels.
n
Self-motivated and enthusiastic attitude.
n
