About COMO Therapy

COMO Therapy is a mobile paediatric therapy service supporting children and adolescents across Canberra.
n
We provide practical, evidence-based therapy that helps children participate more confidently at home, school and in the community. Every therapy program is tailored to each child's goals and designed to achieve meaningful, real-world outcomes.

As a smaller paediatric clinic, we intentionally keep caseloads manageable so our clinicians have the time to deliver high-quality, individualised care rather than rushing from appointment to appointment.

The Role
n
You'll work with children with a wide range of developmental, neurological, musculoskeletal and physical needs, helping them build the skills and confidence to participate more fully in everyday life.

Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Delivering mobile therapy services across homes, schools, daycares and community settings
n
Assessing movement, strength, mobility and functional participation
n
Developing individualised therapy and exercise programs tailored to each child's goals
n
Helping children improve strength, coordination, mobility, endurance and participation in everyday activities
n
Working collaboratively with families, educators and other allied health professionals
n
Providing clinical direction and support for Allied Health Assistant-delivered programs
n
Completing clinical documentation, progress notes and NDIS reports
n

About You
n
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships with children and families and wants to make a genuine difference.
n
n
A recognised Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology qualification
n
Current AHPRA registration (Physiotherapist) or ESSA accreditation (Accredited Exercise Physiologist)
n
Robust clinical reasoning and communication skills
n
A current driver's licence and your own vehicle
n
Current WWVP registration and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
n
Full working rights in Australia
n
Genuine passion for working with children and families
n
n
Highly Regarded (but not essential):
n
n
Experience working with children
n
Community or NDIS experience
n
Musculoskeletal, neurological or rehabilitation experience
n
Experience preparing clinical reports and funding documentation
