Are you a compassionate and experienced Aged Care Manager looking to take the next step in your leadership journey? Talent Quarter are proud to partner with a close-knit 20-bed regional hospital seeking a dedicated Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to lead and inspire the clinical team in delivering exceptional care.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Aged Care manager to step into the role of Nurse Unit manager in a facility that offers aged & acute care.

The role:
n
As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the unit, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, lead clinical governance, and mentor staff to uphold best practice standards.
n
Duties include:
n
n
Lead and manage nursing and care staff across a 20-bed inpatient unit
n
Maintain compliance with clinical standards, policies, and aged care regulations
n
Promote a positive, respectful, and safe environment for residents and staff
n
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in clinical care
n
Coordinate rostering, staff development, and performance management
n
n
To be successful you will have:
n
n
Registered Nurse (AHPRA registration) with minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience
n
Proven leadership experience, ideally in aged care or a rural health setting
n




Sound understanding of aged care standards and person-centred care principles
n
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
n
Passion for rural health and making a difference in a local community
n
