About the Role
n
As a Senior Associate or Manager in the Brisbane Forensic Accounting team, you will work on a broad range of forensic engagements with a primary focus on Dispute Advisory assignments. You will have the opportunity to develop your career while working with a motivated team on complex and interesting cases.
n
n
Assessment of loss and damage for class action proceedings
n
Valuation of minority interest in large Queensland-based manufacturer for Shareholder Oppression proceedings
n
Assessment of economic loss in large insurance litigation claims
n
Complex valuations for family law and estate disputes
n
Dispute resolution for retail chain acquisition
n
Multi-year transaction review for misreporting and alleged fraud investigation
n
n
Key Responsibilities




n

Business valuations
n
Commercial loss and damage claims
n
Insurance events
n
Accounting reviews and investigations
n
Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships
n
Provide trusted expert advice to clients
n
Conduct detailed review and analysis of business financial performance
n
Research and analyze business, industry and economic data
n
Participate in business development and practice management activities
n
Provide coaching, mentoring and training to team members
n
n
Required Skills and Experience
n
n
Significant forensic accounting experience, preferably in public practice
n
Experience preparing valuation reports and/or commercial loss and damage reports for disputes
n
Solid analytical skills with lateral and critical thinking capability
n
High attention to detail and accuracy
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
9-day fortnight with no salary reduction
n
