The role:
n

Providing a fully integrated approach to transfer pricing, the transfer pricing professionals undertake the following:
n
n
Assistance with the preparation of transfer pricing policy and preparation of transfer pricing planning reports.
n
Preparation of transfer pricing documentation to substantiate transfer pricing positions taken.
n
Assistance with transfer pricing aspects of tax authority queries or formal audits.
n
Where companies would like up-front certainty on transfer pricing positions, assisting with applications for and negotiations of rulings and Advanced Pricing Agreements(APAs).
n
Transfer pricing planning, including Operating Model Effectiveness projects that seek to obtain tax benefits from business restructuring.
n
Acting as the preferred advisor to multinational companies, addressing ad hoc transfer pricing queries.
n
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Analyse information, apply economic and financial knowledge to client situations and develop effective approaches to clients' financial circumstances.
n
Take the lead in developing recommendations and implementation plans.
n
Develop and deliver transfer pricing and economic ideas with timely, responsive services and work products, and identify opportunities for transfer pricing and other services.
n
Manage transfer pricing engagements and business development initiatives.
n
Assist in managing engagement economics by organizing staffing, tracking fees, and communicating issues to project leaders.
n
Build robust internal relationships within the transfer pricing team and across other services
n
Coach and mentor staff.
n
n
Skills and attributes:
n
n
Degree in economics, law, finance, tax, or accounting; a CPA or similar certification.
n
At least 5 to 9 years of experience in transfer pricing or similar experience, with a sound understanding of complex transfer pricing concepts.
n
Strong managerial, organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
n
Good verbal and written communication skills.
n
Highly motivated individuals with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing industry.
n
