About the work unit / facility:

The Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) Service is part of the Cardiac Services at Townsville University Hospital. The team delivers culturally safe, evidence-based care for people living with Rheumatic Heart Disease across Townsville Hospital and Health Service and North West Hospital and Health Service, improving access to coordinated care and better health.

Salary range: $139,951 to $151,949 p.a. (NG7)

4 to 6 weeks annual leave

14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity:

Join the Rheumatic Heart Disease Service as a Clinical Nurse Consultant and provide advanced clinical leadership, specialist nursing expertise and care coordination. Working across hospital, community and outreach settings, you'll support culturally safe, evidence-based care while leading education, research and quality initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and proof of registration (AHPRA)
n
Travel may be a requirement
n
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
n
Probation period may apply.
n
