Role

Initiate and manage the tender process from start to finish securing D&C; Government led projects across the Local Council, Education, Industrial, Childcare and Sporting projects up to $15M.

Responsibilities
n
n
Take ownership of seeing tender submissions from start to finish
n
Preparing take-offs, BOQ's and cost estimates
n
Monitoring project costs and budgets
n
Calling subcontractors and relevant stakeholders
n
Identify new potential business opportunities
n
Opportunities to introduce new process/softwares to enhance systems in order to produce more successful outcomes
n
n
Experience required
n
n




Previous Senior/Lead Estimator experience for a Commercial Headcontractor
n
Government led project experience heavily favorable
n
Proficient with relevant Estimating software and MS Packages
n
Ability to work independently and autonomously
n
Can do attitude and someone willing to take on a current challenge
n
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
n
