We are working with a federal government department that's looking for a Security Engineer to join their Cybersecurity Operations team asap.

Security Engineer – Federal Government | NV1 Required

Responsibilities
n
n
Analysing which platform logs actually have security value and making sense of them
n
Building monitoring use cases that target the most important risks
n
Designing alarms and alerts to enable speedier response
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
NV1 security clearance (or eligibility) – Australian citizenship required
n
Strong regex skills and experience writing custom parsers
n
A background in security analysis and monitoring
n
Experience with SIEMs like Sentinel or LogRythm
n
Familiarity with ISM/PSPF standards
n
n
