You will contribute across three core workstreams:
n
n
Ideation: Assessing operational challenges, framing early-stage problems, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
n
Assessments & Proposals: Conducting short-form investigations, feasibility assessments, and developing succinct recommendations for decision-makers.
n
Delivery: Leading small, well-scoped projects (typically three months in duration) while balancing analysis, engaging stakeholders, defining requirements, and ensuring effective follow-through.

Key Responsibilities
n
As a Business Analyst embedded in a service-delivery-focused capability, you will:
n
n
Align personal leadership behaviour and ethical standards with organisational values and care principles.
n
Support the identification of challenges and opportunities, converting these into transparent, prioritised problem statements.
n
Proactively work with stakeholders to uncover operational pain points and opportunities for improvement.
n
Build strong relationships to understand day-to-day operations and identify improvement areas.
n
Analyse and document business processes, workflows, and system interactions to inform decision-making.
n
Elicit, analyse, validate, document, and manage business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
n
Assist in evaluating and enhancing existing systems and tools to improve efficiency and user experience.
n
Contribute to small-scale business changes, enhancements, or assessments.
n
Maintain clear and concise documentation, including requirements, process maps, problem statements, and benefits.
n
Work within established project frameworks to support planning, design, development, and deployment of business change.
n
Conduct market analysis and research on software/hardware products to support option assessments.
n
Take responsibility for timely delivery of business analysis tasks within projects.
n
Share knowledge and collaborate with fellow business analysts to promote best practice and continuous improvement.
n
Proven ability in core business analysis skills, including root-cause analysis, perks elicitation, options assessment, process modelling, requirements management, and stakeholder mapping
n
Experience partnering with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with high attention to detail
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
n
Proficiency with business analysis tools (e.g., process mapping tools, requirements software, project management systems)
n
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and deliver quality outcomes
n
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel locally if required
n
Ability to meet vaccination requirements and relevant probity checks
n

Highly Desirable
n
n
Experience with BPMN 2.0
n
Experience using Microsoft tools such as DevOps and Visio
n
Experience in waterfall projects (including Prince2-aligned documentation)
n
Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban)
n
Formal training or certification in business analysis methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, BABOK, IIBA)
