Job Description
n
We are seeking skilled and passionate Dentists and Dental Specialists to join our team in various regional locations in Australia. As a Dentist at Abano Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work in a modern and well-equipped dental practice, providing a wide range of dental services to patients.
n
Abano can provide 482 regional visas to International Dentists who can secure unrestricted licensing with the Australian Dental Board on AHPRA. You will be required to work in a regional location in Australia which can include but not limited to:

Queensland — Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Roma, Toowoomba
n
New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory — South Coast NSW, Armidale, Bathurst, Coffs Harbour, Foster, Lismore and the Northern Rivers
n
Tasmania — Hobart, Invermay
n
Victoria — Geelong
n
South Australia — Adelaide, Clare Valley, Port Lincoln
n
Western Australia — Perth, Mandurah, Busselton
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n




Diagnosing dental diseases using radiographs, salivary tests and medical histories
n
Providing preventative oral health care such as periodontal treatments, fluoride applications and oral health promotion
n
Providing restorative oral care such as implants, complex crown and bridge restorations, orthodontics, and repairing damaged and decayed teeth
n
Providing oral surgical treatments such as biopsy of tissue and prescription of medication
n
Performing routine orthodontic treatment
n
Restoring oral function with removable and fixed oral prostheses
n
Assisting in diagnosing general diseases having oral manifestations such as diabetes
n
Educating patients to take care of their mouth and teeth
n

Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent qualification recognised by the Dental Board of Australia
n
Full registration with AHPRA
n
A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
n
Eligibility to work in Australia
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
