Mechanic – Ryde Depot

We are seeking a reliable and passionate mechanic to support our fleet maintenance and uphold industry standards.

What We Offer

Sign on bonus of $5,000 (T&C;'s apply)

Annual earning potential $105,000 - $120,000+ including overtime and allowances
n
$***** - $***** per hour depending on skills

Tool allowance $***** weekly

Attendance allowance $***** on rostered hours

Annual leave 5 weeks, 15 days sick leave, long service entitlement after 7 years
n
Annual leave loading 17.5% - 20%

Exposure to Euro 5 & 6 vehicle technologies

Licence upgrade from car to MR covered by the company

Role Responsibilities
n
n
Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, and assemble fleet vehicles, ensuring safety, quality, and Busways standards
n
Maintain vehicles and assets per manufacturer guidelines
n
Perform maintenance according to company procedures
n
Attend breakdowns and carry out field mechanical repairs
n
Communicate safety or maintenance issues effectively
n




Adhere to WHS requirements while performing work duties
n
Maintain clean workshop practices
n
Report and repair accident damage as required
n
Perform ad‐hoc tasks and other duties as directed
n
n
The Successful Applicant Will
n
n
Hold MVTC trade qualification or equivalent
n
Have experience in vehicle service and maintenance
n
Understand and adhere to WHS regulations and company policies
n
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
n
Be experienced in a team environment with daily maintenance and repair schedules
n
Take a proactive approach to continuous improvement
n
Be physically fit for the role
n
Be willing to undergo pre‐employment medical and working with children checks
n
Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have unrestricted working rights in Australia
n
Hold a current unrestricted Australian driver's licence (state issued)
n
n
Additional Experience (Not Required)
n
n
Heavy vehicle diesel mechanic experience (training provided)
n
n
