About the Role

Perth-based, full time 12-month contract. The Electrical Commissioning Specialist will provide commissioning leadership and technical expertise to ensure safe, compliant and effective project delivery across complex operating facilities.
n

Responsibilities
n
n
Promote and maintain a strong commissioning safety culture throughout all project activities.
n
Ensure supervisors understand the scope of work, safe work practices and key issues impacting execution activities.
n
Develop, implement and maintain commissioning completion and close-out documentation.
n
Ensure commissioning spares are identified, procured and available when required.
n
Provide direction on commissioning priorities, integrity requirements, schedule compliance and commissioning progress.
n
Verify commissioning activities are completed and documented in accordance with approved procedures.
n
Support project close-out activities and validation of commissioning deliverables.
n




Ensure compliance with project completions and handover processes.
n
Provide technical guidance on electrical systems, switching activities and commissioning execution.
n

Ideal Candidate Criteria
n
n
Minimum 10 years' experience in a commissioning, electrical or project delivery role within the energy, resources or industrial sectors.
n
Current WA Electrical Licence.
n
Strong understanding of HV and LV switching programs, electrical protection systems and commissioning practices.
n
Experience with ABB switchgear will be highly regarded.
n
Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
n
Strong commitment to safety, quality and project delivery excellence.
n
Willingness and ability to attend site as required.
n
Currently residing in Perth or willing to be based in Perth for the duration of the contract.
n
