The Role: Cook
n
n
Cook delicious, healthy and nutritionally balanced meals for ***** children using our Nido Menus.
n
Prepare and cook 3 meals a day; morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
n
Purchase food and supplies for the kitchen .
n




Ensure dietary and allergy requirements and restrictions for every child are supported by having thorough knowledge of risk minimisation and communication plans.
n
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
n

What You'll Bring
n
n
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate - required
n
Valid WWCC - required
n
Certificate II or III in Commercial Cookery - desirable
n
Experience working in a childcare or aged care setting
n
Strong understanding of allergens and dietary requirements
n
Please note: Any candidate employed from 1 April must provide a certificate confirming completion of the Federally mandated 'National Child Safety Training' via Geccko, or must be willing to obtain prior to employment.
