Position

Swimming Pool Officer – Temporary, Full‐time – Hurstville, New South Wales.
n
Responsibilities
n
n
Conduct inspections of swimming pools to ensure adherence to the Swimming Pools Act ****, associated Regulations, and standards.
n
Enforce legislative requirements and deliver certification and compliance services.
n
Implement Council's Swimming Pool Inspection Program.
n
Promote awareness and provide professional advice on swimming pool safety standards among residents and stakeholders.
n

What We Offer

Temporary, Full‐Time – 70 hours per fortnight (12‐month fixed‐term contract, with the possibility of extension)
n
Salary from $97,******–$112,****** per annum plus 12% superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate)

Qualifications
n
n
At least 12 months experience as a Building Surveyor/Swimming Pool Inspector or similar role.
n
Recognised tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying and/or Swimming Pool Certification.
n
A thorough understanding of the Swimming Pools Act ****.
n
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
n
Excellent organisational and time‐management skills.
n
Robust problem‐solving, conflict‐resolution and negotiation skills.
n
Current Class C Driver's Licence.
n
