Cost & Finance AnalystAn exciting opportunity for a Cost & Finance Analystto support a major Defence capability program. This role will see you working across complex project activities, providing critical financial forecasting, cost modelling, estimation, and commercial analysis to support long-term investment and program delivery outcomes.
n
Working within a collaborative Defence and industry environment, you will provide trusted financial insights and help drive informed decision-making across a high-profile autonomous systems capability program.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Deliver contract development activities in accordance with CASG policy and within required timeframes
n
Lead and support commercial activities across the full capability lifecycle, from procurement planning to contract closure
n
Collaborate with key CASG stakeholders
n
Undertake research and provide advice on commercial, legal, technical and policy matters
n
Mentor and support Contract Management and Contract Development Officers to build team capability
n
Engage effectively with stakeholders and subject matter experts to achieve outcomes
n




Ensure compliance with policy requirements and manage commercial risks and performance
n
Deliver Air Combat Systems (ACS) Branch tasks efficiently and within expected timeframes
n
Provide timely, accurate and high-quality support to Executive Leadership
n
n
Key Skills & Experience:
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law, Procurement, Contract Management, Finance, Project Management or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience
n
Demonstrated experience in commercial, procurement or contract management within a complex, regulated environment
n
Proven stakeholder management experience, with the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships across diverse groups
n
Strong understanding of communication flows, resource management, priorities and workflows to achieve business outcomes
n
Ability to identify, assess and manage commercial risks, including those related to contract development, supplier performance and compliance
n
Experience applying procurement frameworks, policies and governance requirements (Defence/CASG experience highly regarded) integrity.

Security Requirements:

Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a current NV1 Security Clearance.
